Go Live
Once integration testing is successfully completed and you are ready to promote your site to production with Edgemesh® Server, a go-live date will be scheduled. During this process, an Edgemesh® Support Engineer and your Account Partner will guide you through the onboarding process via a conference call or screen share to ensure a smooth transition.
Here is an overview of the process:
DNS Updates
Going live is as simple as updating the DNS for your chosen subdomain. You will need to create two NS (Nameserver) records for your subdomain that point to the Edgemesh® nameservers. Your specific nameservers will be given to you by your Edgemesh® Account Partner or Support Engineer during the go-live call.
Prior to the go-live call, Edgemesh® will prepare the instance of Edgemesh® Server for your website. During the go-live call, your dedicated Edgemesh® Support Engineer will guide you through the process and provide support to ensure a successful deployment of Edgemesh® Server to your production environment.
By following these steps and working closely with your Edgemesh® Engineer and Account Partner, your promotion to production will be achieved smoothly with zero down time.
